 Not a great case for older iphones Oct 26, 2009

I bought this case because I have a 1st generation iphone and they no longer sell cases in the Apple store for them. I really wanted a belt clip, and it said it was for 1G phones. My phone did not fit into the case, and I had to cut out part of it to squeeze it in. The clip is a separate piece, and it is very bulky and again the phone does not fit in it. Maybe if you have a newer, slimmer iphone it would be okay, but don't buy this case if you have an older iphone.

What I like about this case is that I know it's secure and on my hip. When riding a motorcycle I know that the phone will be there when I'm done with the ride. The case is very stiff at first but after some use it loosens up nicely. No cheap plastic clips and very little to break.

With the extra craftsmanship that must have gone into making a seperate, leather holster, you can't beat the price. Maybe a little more bulky than the ideal case, but still classy.

I have been through a slew of iphone cases and this is the best. The case is quality made, actually fits the iphone perfectly (some cases, generic, do not), and has the great feature of a wrap around case and a holster. I wanted something to protect the phone while I used it but a belt clip holster for wearing. The holster is very secure, no worries about the phone coming loose as I play with my kids, etc. HIGHLY recommended.

The holster is well-made and the leather is textured with fine stitching on the edges.
