Excellent Case for iPhone Nov 21, 2007
By George Ruzzier I have tried several iPhone cases, and this is by far one of the best:
Pros: - soft lining to protect phone - shows off the beauty of the iPhone - phone slides in and out easily but is not loose - comfortable on hip - pop-up stand comes in handy
Cons: - need to be careful when sliding phone out and in to avoid dropping (really more of an iPhone bar of soap issue than case) - soft lining retains some greasiness from phone and leaves on screen even after cleaning

Excelleny Product Oct 13, 2007
By T. Brown This product works well for the iPhone. It is handy to use and clips easily to pockets, belts, etc. The only drawback is the phone has to be slid partially out of the holder to expose the camera lense in order to take pictures or to charge the phone, not a big problem though. The phone does slide easily out of the holder.

Best iPhone holster Oct 01, 2007
By bqb This holster looks and feels very well made. Easily the nicest holster I've owned for ANY phone. It has a soft lining to protect the iPhone, and a large belt clip properly placed to keep the phone positioned low on your hip. Worth every penny.

Great for iPhone, but never intended for iPhone 3G Sep 27, 2008
By Roquentin I absolutely loved this holster for my first-generation iPhone. The velcro stand feature works great and I was even able to use that feature to quickly attach and detach the phone to a velcro-covered windshield mount in my car. It doesn't have a cutout for the iPhone camera, but it's easy to push the phone slightly up from the bottom for that (without having to remove it entirely), and the bonus is that you then have a little space and a hook at the bottom to help you hold and stabilize the phone (one handed!) while you're pressing the icon to snap the picture. The belt clip is extremely sturdy and slides on and off easily but grips securely, unlike some of the leather-covered clips, which don't have enough of a raised lip at the bottom of the clip to slide on easily. The clip is also more low profile (less bulky) than the ratchet-style clips. So when I upgraded my iPhone to the 3G model, I was saddened that it doesn't really work for that phone, at least not when inserted face-out. It seems at first as though it fits, but I find that it just doesn't hold the phone securely enough: it just pops out unexpectedly. As of this writing, the product is mislabeled on Amazon. The maker, Speck, does not market it for the iPhone 3G and never intended it to be used with that model. Check Speck's website yourself. I ended up getting the Griffin Elan Clip holster for the iPhone 3G, but it has a few negatives that prevent me from loving it as much as the Speck holster.
Update, 2 OCT 2008: Amazon has updated the product name to remove "3G." I've also moved on from the Griffin Elan Clip to the Macally mClip holster (both for the 3G), which is a much better product.

Best iPhone case yet Sep 29, 2007
By M. Surratt Simple, Excellent & Functional case. protects the phone without restricting it from the dock use. Pop up stand is a nice extra feature and its comfortable on your hip. I have bought 5 different cases and hated them all except this one.
