5Good Mousepad for Fans  May 17, 2011 By Madeline
I bought this mousepad for my brother. He's a huge fan of the game, and he loved it. It preforms well and he seems happy with it overall. The design is very cute, and the picture doesn't really do it justice. It's definitely worth it if you're a fan of the game.

4Decent Product  Sep 12, 2010 By Buster-kun
The design of the mousepad is tremendous. Too bad it's ripped straight from Valve's official product line. I would have just bought those, but shipping was outrageous, 12 or more dollar I believe. So I decided to buy it on Amazon. Design is good, materials is decent for a mouse to slide over on, my mouse slides pretty easily. The bottom has some great grip so your mousepad isn't moving all over the place. TBH, though, if you're extremely serious about the material your mouse pad is on, I wouldn't bother with this one. Otherwise, this has a great design on it and might just be what you're looking for.

5Fun Fan Merch FTW!  Aug 19, 2010 By Mandy S.
I've bought three of these BattleMats in the last year. One Half-Life 2 "Dog" version for my brother bought nearly a year ago, one Portal "Angel" for myself and a Team Fortress 2 "Heavy" for my fiancé (not listed on Amazon), both bought 7 months ago. They're all in great condition still, with no tearing or separation on the edges. Being a fan of all three of these games, they're quite nice to look at it.

Brand new, BattleMats are slightly textured on the surface. With use, the center of the mat where the mouse most often rubs becomes slightly glossy. This hasn't caused any problems for my fiancé and I with our optical mice, however my brother had an issues with his Razer gaming laser mouse. He said it was as if the laser was reflecting off the pad and interfering itself. In games, this meant his character would abruptly turn to one side or look straight up and begin spinning in circles wildly. I found this amusing to watch but he couldn't see the hilarity. He still uses it occasionally but has opted for a fabric mouse pad for use during most fast action games.

Still, if you're a fan of these games and you've got an optical mouse, I'd say go for it. Fun fan merch FTW!

5Nothing Wrong  Mar 24, 2012 By Xemist
I actually wanted a poster like this, but this giant mousepad was the best I could find. Nice non-cloth finish, a little-stiffer and thinner than bulk/generic ones.
