| | Description | Simple. Intuitive. Easy to use. The Wii Wheel gives you a fun, comfortable way to play driving and racing games on the Wii video game system. Designed to improve accuracy and control, the Wii Wheel lets you steer like an actual car and makes racing games more realistic. Loading your Wii Remote into the Wii Wheel is easy-just snap it in- and you'll still have access to all the buttons. So get behind the Wii Wheel and your ready to race. Look on the back of Wii Game Disc packaging to see which games are specially designed for use with the Wii Wheel. The Wii Wheel must be used with a Wii Remote, which is sold separately. | |

Good, but Not the Best Jul 27, 2011
By S. Robison I've tried this accessory as well as other remote wheels for Mario Kart. This accessory, while being the official Wii version, is good, there is no question. It fits with the remote perfectly and the quality is nice, yet I have a couple of problems with this version:
-The material lends to allowing sweat accumulation -It is more uncomfortable than other versions of the remote (made of a plastic-type material)
Other than that, this remote is good, yet I would recommend that you look at the Nerf versions of the Wii wheel instead: the wheel is softer, just as functional, and the price is lower ($9.99 at the time of this review).
Hope this helps!

Excelent controller Sep 14, 2011
By Alex This is an excelent buy option for enjoy the Mario Kart Wii, I buy it for my wife and both of us have lots of fun playing whit this, but it's a bit tricky to advance in the 1-player mode if you're used to N64 or Game Cube controllers, in that case it's better to play whit the nunchuk. For family/friends fun purpouse, this is a must.

Great product, first-party quality. Aug 19, 2011
By romevi I've owned the regular white version of this, as well as the Japanese Club Nintendo gold exclusive. While I actually prefer the GameCube controller for Mario Kart, sometimes we as gamers need to let loose a little, and this Wii Wheel provides a fun, albeit sometimes frustrating, alternative to a more lighthearted driving experience.
One can actually drive in Mario Kart without the Wii Wheel (in case you don't know by now), so you're essentially paying for a $10 piece of plastic. Nevertheless, it makes controlling and steering more comfortable, and the matte black goes great with the newer black Wii remotes. The Wii logo on the back is a nice, shiny silver instead of the blue on the white Wii Wheels, so it fits the color scheme more handsomely.

Best Wii steering wheel Jul 26, 2011
By Jimmy It's only ten bucks so why get the best one right?! Compared to 3rd party versions, this one has the best quality control, didn't feel flimsy, fit great (have you tried others?!?) & no scratches on the Wiimote. This a no-brainer, LOL!

Wii Race May 16, 2011
By Michael Kerner

There is no question that with the Nintendo Wii coming to a close within a few years, there still is a lot of excitement in the wings for new Wii gamers. Still, for anyone who loves Mario Kart Wii, and is looking for new multiplayer action, they can find it with the Wii Wheel. It is a simple attachment that handles well with the system, as you use it with your Wii-mote to steer your karts to the finish line. It handles well not just with Mario Kart Wii, which it came with the game, but also is sold seperately, but is a great addition for other Wii Wheel games like Excitebots: Trick Racing, and Need For Speed: Undercover. While there have been over third-party wheels made for the Nintendo Wii, this is one that definitely is worth the money. If you're looking for a extra wheel to play with during those Mario Kart races, this is a great buy.
