It serves its purpose Jul 21, 2011
By HeWhoWouldLikeAnXBOX360 Average 3rd party control for the GameCube, also works with Wii. The coverings on the analog control stick and the C-stick came off pretty quickly, leaving them bare and uncomfortable to use. Then the Z button stopped working altogether. Since we only own one or two Gamecube/Gamecube-compatible games, it's not a big deal to us, but it's kinda annoying. Go with the Gamecube Compatible Controller (Indigo) instead, that one's lasted longer. By the way, in case you think we were fooling around with the controller, we weren't: we only used it for the games, we kept it safe when not in use, and we didn't even use the Z button that often. The controller just kinda sucked.

Excellent performance from these 3rd party GC controllers! Apr 22, 2011
By J. A. Henderson These Joytech 3rd party Gamecube controllers have been plug-and-play perfect with my Wii after 3 months of moderate use (including by 2 children, 9 and 7). I was surprised at just how heavy and solid-feeling they are, and so far all buttons and joysticks work perfectly. They're needed to play Gamecube backups on the Wii, and so these have greatly expanded our gameplay on our Wii. I can't imagine that the OEM (Nintendo) controllers are any more solid or capable. Be sure to get Gamecube extension cables for these if your Wii is located more than 4-5 feet from where you play. While they have 6-ft. cords, you don't want them taut when you're trying to play. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase!

Joy tech Controller Aug 06, 2011

The controller is good, but don't be fooled! It is not a Nintendo brand GameCube controller, but It looks like and feels like a Nintendo brand GameCube controller. My only complaints were that it does not have a rumble pack inside (therefore the controller does not vibrate, the cord is a little bit shorter than the original GameCube controller. Besides that it deems to get the job done, it is a great controller, and In fact I use it more than I use my other GameCube controllers because they are a little defected (one is missing the soft pad on the joystick and the other has response issues).
Pros It's smooth It works good It feels good Looks just like regular Nintendo controller
Cons No rumble pack inside Short cord

Controllers are pretty good Aug 25, 2010
By Chelsey M. Littrell The controllers are pretty good. They are harder to control (than the super nintendo controllers that are more expensive) and sometimes the down arrow sticks.

Gamecube controller Jan 04, 2012
By JoanD The cap on the joystick broke off after a week and the next day the joystick just stopped working completely. The L and R buttons are horrible and you can hear the springs as you press them down. It feels crazy cheap especially since it's so light and the only button I don't have a problem with is the B button. Using a nintendo-made controller feels like a luxury compared to this piece of junk. If you're considering buying this controller, don't. Just spend the extra money of a legit gamecube controller instead of buying this electric garbage.
