good fit but lacking in sound. Apr 09, 2010
By A. Nieves Well I don't know where to begin I purchased this headset to use with my xbox 360 via astro Mix amp. I know what your thinking "why the hell are you using a $30 headset with a $130 amp?" but it is because I have been through many different headsets and configurations. Either the headsets I buy are uncomfortable or the mic is too poor. This headset gets a A in comfort and has proven to be the best mic I have tried on the 360 to date.
Now my gripes are that this headset has a wide birth thanks to the fold up design that just looks stupid on a more close cropped head. I guess I can live with that fact for the plus of having them fold up nicely. The sound is a bit low without a amp. Nothing amazing with the ear pads but they have a nice cushion so the headset is very comfortable and light. The lows are not as tight as I would want, the mids and highs are average.
If it wasn't for the price factor I might have sent them back but thanks to the mic and portability I am sure I will keep them around.
Pro's -Best mic I ever used on the 360 -Portability -In-line controls & Velcro strap -Light & Comfortable -Long boom mic -Price
Con's -Ugly styling -tad underpowered if you have a weak source -Muddled low and highs

Great Headset May 04, 2010
By M. Durbin
"GameGeek"
I've had this headset for about a month now, and I haven't found anything I don't like about it. It's very comfortable, plenty loud, and sounds great. I use it exclusively for gaming, and am able to hear everything very clearly. I really like the mic boom. It's infinitely adjustable and stays where it's put. I also like the in-line volume adjustment so I can turn it down in-game without having to mouse out of my game window. VERY good value for the price.

Very satisfied Apr 06, 2010
By Jeff Z. Pros: Light, very good sound quality, cheap, microphone is very good quality, inline volume & mic mute controls.
Cons: Become uncomfortable after a few hours, microphone swivel inst quite as tight as it should be, so the boom arm tends to sag.
Overall: I would recommend this as a starter headset for someone interested in competitive gaming, or for someone who goes to LAN's

The bad reviews are justified! PLEASE READ before buying. Feb 23, 2012
By K. Enders With any product, your mileage will vary some. I'm sure there are some who get lucky and don't have issues with this headset. I, however, have to toss my hat in with the folks who've had issues with it. Before buying this headset, I took the time to read the reviews on Amazon.com and in spite of the many reviews warning me not to buy them as they are fragile, I listened to the reviews that said the headset wasn't so bad. Well, I (literally) didn't even have the headset home for a full minute before it broke. I was sitting down, adjusting the cord of the headset. I hadn't even plugged it in yet. The headset was on my head. Aside from wearing it, I wasn't even touching the headset itself when I heard a pop, a small piece fell to the ground, and one of the earphones dangled. So, needless to say, it's broken. I wish I'd listened to the people talking about it being junk. They were right and I will be returning this to the store tonight for a refund. So, if you're considering buying this headset, please re-consider. Or at least know that if you purchase it, you stand a very high chance of having to make a return visit to the store you bought it from. In my opinion, not worth it.

Total Junk Feb 22, 2012
By FAAmecanic I have gone through 2 sets of these in 60 days. Both times the headphones broke right at the swivel point. This swivel is two pieces of plastic held together by two VERY VERY small screws. First time I figured maybe I was twisting them as I took them on and off.. so the second set I was VERY careful to just put them straight on my head, and straight off...minimal pressure on the swivels. No dice...still broke as I sat there gaming one night they just snapped and fell off.
Sad..as they were very comfortable and had GREAT sound for such a small, lightweight package. I am considering buying the Turtle Beach PX21's but reading they also have issues with breaking....
